Senator Rose and Shelby County officials working to reopen Eagle Creek

SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) and local leaders have been working diligently to find the most economical way to reopen the now-shuttered Eagle Creek Resort because of its financial importance to Shelby and Moultrie Counties.

Senator Rose was joined by Congressman John Shimkus and Representative Adam Brown for the most recent Eagle Creek update on April 25. The three elected officials heard from a group of about 60 individuals, who attended the hearing held at the Findlay Village Hall.
