Senator Rose Announces $2.1 Million Investment to Bring More Jobs to Crawford County

SPRINGFIELD, IL- State Senator Rose is announcing a $2,164,842 state grant to support economic development in Crawford County through the acquisition of 123 acres for a new industrial park. The funding comes through Illinois’ Regional Site Readiness Program, which helps communities prepare sites for industrial development and attract new businesses.

“This investment puts Crawford County in a strong position for future growth,” said Senator Rose. “These are your local taxpayer dollars coming back to strengthen our community and bring more jobs.”

The Regional Site Readiness Program helps communities get land ready for new businesses. By preparing this site, Crawford County will be better positioned to attract companies, create jobs, and boost the local economy for families across the region.

“Developing a new industrial park ensures we have development-ready land available when businesses are looking to expand or relocate,” Rose added. “I will continue pushing for investments that create real opportunities for families and workers in our district.”
