On December 29th, State Senator Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) released the following statement on the court ruling on the SAFE-T Act.
“This is a victory for public safety, but this is only the circuit court ruling. By appealing this ruling, Governor Pritzker and his allies have chosen to continue this chaos that puts the safety of Illinois citizens at risk. This kind of sloppy governance, that has now been exposed by the courts, is the true legacy of Governor Pritzker.”
