Area seniors are invited to a free Senior Health and Information Fair August 4 at the Effingham Armory. The event is sponsored by State Sens, Kyle McCarter (R-Lebanon), Dale Righter (R-Mattoon) and Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) and State Rep. John Cavaletto (R-Salem).
Learn what you can do to live a healthier life and take advantage of free onsite health screenings. Information will be available on prescription drug benefits, Veterans’ benefits and other government services.
The free event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Armory, 1206 West Temple Avenue. Free refreshments and door prizes for those in attendance.
