WHAT: State Sen. Chapin Rose and Dept. of Agriculture Director Philip Nelson will host a free Tool Shed Town Hall meeting for area farmers, those in the agriculture industry, and leaders of area farm bureaus to discuss agriculture policy and how to make Illinois an even bigger leader in the agriculture industry. It’s an opportunity for those on the frontlines of agriculture production to meet Illinois’ new Director of Agriculture and talk to him about where the industry is heading.
