Join State Sen. Jason Barickman and State Sen. Chapin Rose at a Common Core and PARCC Testing Townhall meeting in Normal on April 6. Senators Barickman and Rose will join a panel of representatives from the ACT college readiness assessment organization, school administrators and teachers to speak with parents and students about the controversial Common Core State Standards and assessment testing (PARCC) that are being implemented in Illinois. The panel will also answer questions from the audience about Common Core.
