The Illinois Farm Bureau has presented State Senator Chapin Rose with the Illinois Farm Bureau “Friend of Agriculture” award.
“Agriculture is easily the biggest industry in the entire state,” said Senator Rose. “And I am truly honored by this recognition that is chosen by our local farm families.”
The “Friend of Agriculture” is awarded to lawmakers in recognition of their commitment to supporting Illinois family farms and the agriculture industry.
“The relationship we have with Senator Rose is invaluable,” said Kevin Semlow, Director of State Legislation for the Illinois Farm Bureau. “His support and leadership plays a vital role in the direction that the state needs to go, and it shows his representation delivers for the farmers in his district.”
“It is absolutely vital that state government is supportive of our farmers,” said Senator Rose. “We must support the industry while preventing burdensome new regulations from stifling our farms and agri-businesses.”
