SPRINGFIELD, IL – Several members of the Parkland Student Government Association (SGA) traveled to the Illinois State Capitol on April 2 to lobby members of the General Assembly about higher education issues.
Three members of the Parkland SGA met with State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet). The Senator discussed his 2014 higher education agenda which has a heavy focus on MAP Grant funding for non-traditional and returning students.
