SPRINGFIELD, IL – On January 30, State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) stopped in Sullivan to meet with local governmental and economic leaders.
Senator Rose and Representative Adam Brown (R-Champaign) met with officials with the City of Sullivan, Illinois Department of Transportation and the Sullivan Fire Protection District to discuss the possibility of expanding the firehouse.
Additionally, Rose met with individuals with the “Little Theatre on the Square” about economic development and with Moultrie County State’s Attorney Jeremy Richey about legislation. A larger group of community leaders met with the Senator at TNT Pizza.
