SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) met with the Illinois Department of Transportation on May 13 regarding some rural Champaign County rural road projects.
At the meeting, Senator Rose also got a commitment to fast-track a $1 million resurfacing of the Broadlands “Slab” from Longview Road to US Route 49 and additional work to the Longview/Sidney “Slab”.
Rose thanked IDOT for their consideration and advancing both projects, which will be on the May 24 bid letting.
