SPRINGFIELD, IL – Several members of the Lake Land Student Government Association (SGA) traveled to the Illinois State Capitol on April 17 to lobby members of the General Assembly about higher education issues.
Five members of the Lake Land SGA met with State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) who previously represented the community college during his ten years in the Illinois House. Currently, the Senator represents many of the communities that surround Lake Land.
