I support the right of locally elected school boards to decide what is in the best interests of their communities. The women and men elected to their Board of Education have devoted their lives to protecting and promoting child safety, welfare, and education. For Governor Pritzker to arrogantly insinuate that they don’t care about the safety of children is outrageous! The people of their communities elected them – not JB Pritzker – to make the right decisions for the kids in their districts.
