Highway dedication to honor the Ghere Brothers

WHAT:           A news conference and dedication ceremony to honor the seven Ghere brothers who all served our country during World War II. Route 133, as it passes through Douglas County, will be known as the Ghere Brothers Memorial Highway. Note: This event is free and open to the public. After the news conference, attendees/media are invited to drive Route 133 to where the Ghere Brothers Memorial Highway sign will be unveiled.

 

Note: There will be a reception following the news conference and unveiling of the sign back at the Fire Department in Arcola.
