SPRINGFIELD, IL – Sullivan-area senior citizens were the beneficiaries of a free financial seminar sponsored by State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet).
The August 13 event featured speakers from AARP, the Illinois Treasurer’s Office and the Citizens Utility Board, which offered money saving tips on utility bills.
Senator Rose would like to extend a huge “thanks” to the Sullivan Senior Center and the agencies that turned out for the successful event.
